As I told you, I'm trying to get some profit from my Medical Students Journal Protomedicos.com, as long as I get a lot of visits, maybe we can launch a link-exchange (you cna use my own banner-server) so I will put your banners on my website, and you will do the same.
Although my website it's in spanish, I plan to launch another one in English. However, Spanish sites would be invited to do so.
The idea is to sell you my ads in exchange of yours, and maybe pay the difference, for as little as $1/100 visits (or even $1/1000 visits), so it would be a good way to get some profit of each website. Each month, or two, we will check the statistics to see how many clicks my users did, and how many your users did. The difference is payed by me, or by you if you got more visits.
Trying to get more visitors and maybe some money, while spending as little as possible.
Maybe this is not an idea and you should put it in the bazaar.
Tommy
I have to agree. Paid links get you slapped now by google so anyone involved in this will actually lose generic search traffic.
This is not a new concept. Its been around look up link exchanges and affiliates. You should find a great deal of info on the topic.
I find it best to exchange links with other related sites by just sending the admin an email.
Good idea - worth pursuing and detailing it a bit more! For some of the reasons mentioned by others in the forum
i understand where you are coming from but this is moving backwards. Pay per click is a lot more accurate for both your users and your advertisers.
