php Accounting Manager

The Idea

I work as accounter for my GF's company and sometimes I need to check some stuffs there and I have to go to the office to do it. A php Accounting Manager would solve this, the employees would do it over the internet (or intranet for even more privacy) and the bosses can check out the accounts/the employees can check the accounts whereever they are. This PAM can have modules to allow access to some users (the ones that have vacations are not allowed to access the system and so on. The system would be able to create invoices for printing (PDF) and a dialy account register. PAM would be similar to ContaPlus and FacturaPlus (http://www.sagesp.com/ sorry that the links are in Spanish). The first one (contaplus) is for accounting and Facturaplus is for billing. If there is anyway to explain this in Spanish, it would be better. If not, I will make my best to explaint it even better!!

I thought of this idea when I was...

One day I found a project that handels the invoices but I was missing the accounting part of the system. By now, it seems that the project is somehow stopped with some users doing small modiffications to the core but no important enough to use it as it is (last beta was released April 25th 2005!). http://translate.goo...ev=%2Flanguage_tools sorry that the web is in Spanish, Google is not THAT good doing the translation.
