The Idea

A home and office used self compacting trash bin for plastics and papers. THIs would eliminate eye sore and proper managment in bulky trash cans in the office with mostly papers. THe same things in our homes , where either plastics and other compactable wastes are crumpling in our basket. IMagine your trashcan so neat and being maximized on its FULL potential. An ordinary trashcan can actually hold upto 15 kilos of content and yet most of this oveflowing basket actually hold only a fraction of its holding capacity. I notice, that malls and even institution have the same problem on waste managment on bulky garbage. What a wonderful world we cpiuld have to ease our mind on such organized home and office.

I thought of this idea when I was...

After seeing everynight a GARBAGE TRUCK COMPACTOR, I wish i had small functional trash can in the office too!

How very 70s! I still have a few friends that have (30 year old) trash compactors in their homes, but I don't know anyone who uses them. I'm not sure that its any more "green" to compact your own trash rather than let the garbage truck do it. I also think that if it were more convenient, people would still be using the ones that were offered ages ago.

Maybe they could become trendy again - like Disco or war protests or --- well... ok.

Is this an analogy for data compression? I don't understand how this thing would be realized on the web.

Unless you had loads of these things for different materials it would make sorting for recycling purposes impossible.

I think the idea is okay but as DaveG253, it's been done and what you need is a fresh outlook for this new version of TRUST CAN.

Maybe it CAN still work in some places like where you are but then the marketing prospects for this idea is not lucrative.
