The Idea

Its a Ouija board simulation on the web. Users try to track the pointer ('planchette'Wink with their mouse, the position of which is determined by the actions of all the users combined.
.
In real life Ouija the pointer is being subconciously controlled by tiny hand movements which the players are not aware of. The same would happen with the mouse. The players would think they are simply tracking the pointer, but they are in fact directing it.
.
As letters are selected they are shown on a running display,so any resulting words can be easily read.
.
Users could select from a list of questions to ask the Ouija, or start a personal session where their own specific question is asked.
.
Different versions would be available for different languages/alphabets. Also, bots would join sessions where there arent enough human particpants. The bots would be controlled by random number generators.

I thought of this idea when I was...

Daydreaming about cooperation on the web, I started thinking about what kind of activities a crowd of users could do, where they all participate simultaneously and get immediate feedback.
