The Idea

An online service that brings togeather buyer with gift certificate. Any gift certificate. It would be a store that sells gift certificates and has them delivered to the buyer or to a specified person. It would allow for the purchase of gift certificates from any store (even those who normally don't have gift certificates) it would include online certificates and offline. The certificate would be issued from the gifts.from.us or some other fun domain name. The way this could make money is by charing a % fee on the amount purchased. Think paypay and their 2.5% service change.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I thought this up while hunting for a gift for some of my friends on their birthday. You know, the hard to buy for becasue they have all the stuff they could want. Well, I wanted to buy a gift card from a computer parts store and was told that they didn't have any way to offer a certificate. I thought wouldn't it be great if I could go online and generate one for the shop?
