The Idea

use simple cameras to stream and people can watch and talk to whoeva is in the room on the pc at the time and they can c whats goin on anytime anyone can. even if i use my front room and i garentie you people would enjoy watching what i do crazy stuff happens in my house .just like big brother but on the internet.

I thought of this idea when I was...

i always though people are always watching tv, amazed with these reality programs and then it hit me why not make a reality show that people can just url into n see whats happening when they feel too.

Anything like blogtv.com? It's not "reality tv" focused, but it makes it pretty easy to stream your audio and video over the web...

Sounds interesting. I think a lot of people would watch this, like me. I love watching reality shows, but spend more time on the computer so this is something I'd tune in to.

this could work, I'm not a fan of Big Brother, but I know a lot of people who are.. do give us some more details on how this would work. I'd be interested in hearing it.

This is great,
You'd have to create a movement of people who would put surveillance webcams up in their house, but I think this would be an easy sell if you pick the right demographic.

Lots of things to work out in the details, but it's relatively low capital and low risk to just get people to start doing it.

Bandwidth might be a problem... but perhaps there are solutions where a camera doesn't start sreaming unless someone's watching it... etc.

Good idea, well done.

Aren't the reality TV shows (with the big budgets and professional filmakers) already viewable via streaming video on the web?

So how would you make money with this? Who would pay, and how much?

but....if you're stuck in front of your PC terminal, what type of method is there to elimnate the participants to determine the winner? like survivor has reward and immunity challenges. Apprentice has Mr. Trumo firing people who don't do well in projects.

So if you just sit in front of the screen. and all the other participants do likewise, what would be the elimination format?
