The Idea

i want a game to play wear it is realistic enogh to wear if you were to hit somone with your sword or bow they would bleed not just shoot a splur of blood, i would like to play a game wear it would leave a cut on your enemy and blood would pore form the wound, or if you wear to shoot somone with a arrow i would like the arrow to stick in them not just disapear, and when somone dies they thear body should not fall to the same spot everytime, i would just like a more realistic game Happy

I thought of this idea when I was...

thought of the idea of a realistic game after playing so many mmo you start to see simularatys in npc reaction and character reaction.

I really would make it more realistic... but is it possible without making the game very very slow?

Did you ever want to just punch someone... in the face?

Video games are already pretty violent. I think the kind of detail you're looking for will be available as soon as the technology is available to support it. Possibly you could even extend an existing (PC) game to include it, if user mods are allowed.

You should make one.

I think JelmerBV and Gordon have got it right. The goal of pretty much every game studio is to make the perfect photorealistic game, and one only has to look at the progress so far to see that they're getting there. Unfortunately, the technology just doesn't exist in home computers yet. The big studios are already working at the limits of what is possible, and I don't think you're going to beat them to it.

Wow, that's probably the most disturbing idea I've ever read on here. Congratulations? I think I'm going to vote this up because I'm afraid of you.

That was not only disturbing, but you misspelled almost every word in your post. Seek help...

Let me know when there's an actual marketable idea in your post.

I really can't be bothered reading a sentence that long with a glaring mis-spelling so close to the start of it.

Dude, I have a friend who happens to be a psychiatrist? Maybe she can right a prescription for some Valium or something! Isn't there enough violence out there? and you still want game and children's mind to be even more corrupted?!

That is twisted... Talk about get children used to gore and violence so that they become conditioned and when they see it in front of them it is not such a big deal. I think being able to turn on CNN and see real dead people with real bullit holes in them isnt enough...I def need more!!!!

OH oh oh oh...what would be reallly cool is if you could take pictures of people you know and laod them on to the game so that the game simulates their face....then you could pretend to kill people you know...awwww that would be amazing

get a life....try mario on the original nintendo...its pretty fun

XxoverlordxX, you need to spend more time learning English and less time playing unrealistic, violent video games.

The most realistic game to date that I can think of is BioShock. You should check it out. One of the movies shows that if you run into big daddy and he gets really close, you put your hand one one of his drills and it drills right through you hand! Then you run away to a railing and he look down and he has drilled all the way through your stomach!!! I can't wait the month it will take to come out. Definitely worth checking out for the latest and greatest in game development.

I think this is where I chime in with the comment of an invention to punch someone in the face over the internet.

Join the army or go to a country were civil war and persecution run rampant... Video game violence was fun and silly when the first Mortal Kombat came out. Perhaps your idea should be expanded to make the player wear a suit that makes them feel every blow dealt to the OTHER player. Then the connection can be made that hurting people in real life isn't funny.
