The Cambrian House Crew
I think web 2.0 and CH are the missing link for ordinary people to contribute meaningfully in the new ways of creating wealth in this so called new economy.Cycko, Feb 2007
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

An airline devoted to flying larger-capacity planes that have larger seats, wider aisles, bigger bathrooms, and more leg-room. North Americans have continued to grow larger, whereas our modes of transportation have remained fairly static in terms of size. It's common knowledge that the next generation will be even larger than this one... Although obesity is an epidemic, there is no quick fix, and people will continue to be bigger for years to come.
Browsing through Cambrian House... Thinking of ways to improve the planet.
Most compagnies offer the possebility to buy extra space. If you are succesfull these compagnies will outcompete you very fast I'm afraid.
You need a lot of money to do this.

This is a great idea and intuitively makes a lot of sense. I do know that American Airlines has experimented with providing more leg room and larger seats. My understanding is that flyers say they like more room, and they say they're happier when they have more room, but it doesn't really influence their purchase decisions... they still go with the lowest-cost provider.
So far, it's a point of differentiation that existing airlines can't figure out how to monetize. Your service and routes would have to be significant differentiators as well.
I like the Inspiration... but youre starting to wish a business class accomodation for everyone... cute!
The 1st class market is smaller then you would think. Most people just want to get there.
Be expensive to break into, though there are some "first class" airlines outthere, unfortunatly some are having financial troubles.
