A market is never saturated with a good product, but it is very quickly saturated with a bad one.

I just read somewhere that since Christmas (so many people got iPhones, including me) that people searching on Google from iPhones has drastically increased. Mobile search and tools are the future, that's for sure.

I've used...
http://www.skweezer.net/

for my MotoQ, I find it quite useful. But I haven't tried hitting CH with it, it might not support logging in and cookies.

CH knows our support on mobiles is poor, but there's some work on being done on a tangential area and it might feed back into a slimmer CH2.

Aside from that, this sort of thing belongs in the forums rather than IdeaWarz. I wouldn't MIND if you set this idea to PRIVATE and moved the dialog to forums...

Serious voting here implies reading the comments and often also at least one pertinent thread in the forums. This is impractical on a phone.

I think I agree with natmaka... CH ideas are (usually/hopefully!) well-thought out product descriptions and sales pitches with a couple of dozen associated pertinent comments, all to be taken seriously. I'm not sure it's either practical or desirable to allow people to vote in a spare five minutes they have lying around their day...

what about a webwidget that gave you updates on your ideas or how they are doing?

I disagree with natmaka and PhilipH; I don't think a mobile interface necessarily implies a lack of attention span. I spent over two hours today reading pretty in-depth technical specs on my iPod Touch because I was stuck away from my computer. I didn't have the time then to browse CH, but I often have more free time to do so when I'm away from my desk than when I'm not.

I absolutely agree with both of them that CH participants should read the ideas and all comments before posting or voting. I just don't think a mobile interface necessarily precludes that (any more than the current interface requires it).
