Keep on the lookout for novel ideas that others have used successfully. Your idea has to be original only in its adaptation to the problem you're working on.

The Idea

Voting on which picture puts a person in the best light. People post multiple pictures of themselves in different clothes, with different hair, and at different shooting angles and then sites visitors vote which one is the best looking. . People then use the results to use wherever they need to use a good picture of themselves: a blog, a yearbook photo, a dating website, whatever. . The advantage over using hotornot is that people aren't actually rating you or your looks so you have no risk to your ego.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I thought of it while looking at a fashion advice idea. Their is a chance I saw this idea here a long time ago and don't remember. Apologies if so.

Alright. Sounds useful. Not sure about how much $$$ it would make but I'll upvote it anyway.

I think this idea has potential, but not huge revenue potential.

It really annoys me when people do this to me, but:
One of the features of my idea is basically the same as this idea, 'FashionFriend'
http://www.cambrianh...er/ideas-id/PlSWkBp/

However, my personal belief is that this idea would attract a larger market due to the increased veratility and usefulness.

I vote +

Besides, hasn't it been done before? Maybe not this in particular, but there are thousands of "rate me" sites.
