The Elevator Pitch

For anyone (companies and people) who have conscience about the environment problem and envisioning a opportunity to earn money with your trash the MarketTrash is a B2B and B2C service that join interests of this people or companies (sell and buy trash) and increasing your marketplace. Unlike specific B2B application our product can show many opportunities for recycler and non recycler companies.

The Idea

Actually many companies are envisioning to the environment problem like a great chance to earn money with recyclable materials. In many cases big companies sell his trashes to small recycling companies. This companies processing this materials and sell it to other companies to reuse.
In many cases small recycling companies buy trash from the towns and do the same process.
This business is restricted for few companies and people (directly).
How about anyone (people and companies) sell freely their trash ?
How about anyone earn money with their trashes ?

The idea is create a service, in the internet, where anyone(people or companies) can negotiate his trash and recycled materials.
With this, the people will be conscious about the environment and can earn some bucks.
All companies of the world will be conscious about his potential to generate trash (i have some data about this) and can sell it with a fair price.
Companies that recycle materials can sell his products in this service to other companies with a fair price.
The idea is popularize and become conscious all people that the trash can carry gains (financial and environmental)

This idea has as much potential as any other B2B/B2C idea. There are companies who specialize in specific recyclables like motor oil and such. And they may get more traction in the marketplace from this site. The problem will be to get the direct competitors to be on the same website. If I'm a paper recycler, I may not want to advertise my services against the competition.

Hi PeeJayEl, thanks for the answer.

But if i have a company recycler and Am I searching recycler materials to my company? This service could be access by many companies to expose his trashes to sell.
Imagine a office. This office can sell his papers to a paper recycler. The service can join companies that ignore the potential of the trash. The service is a facilitative.

In some states it is really easy to do this without a website. I think the only way this could work is if you found a way to get enough trash and low enough shipping costs.

I agree with Kevin_Cox. the main thing would be the cost. and I can't see how the idea can be expended to include the general public.

It would probably work better as a B2B.

I was involved in the paper recycling business a few years back.

Our two main problems were (1) Transportation costs (2) Finding a stable market price for our product. Basically the paper manufacturers had us by the short and curly's. Once we had collected and sorted around 500 tons (their minimum purchase lot) they dropped the price. Shipping costs to an alternate buyer, a few hundred miles away ate up the potential profit.

If you can solve problem (2) Finding a stable buyer, locally you stand a chance.

Good Luck.

If anyone is wondering why this idea suddenly plummeted from 2nd place to 8th place, I've disabled the gaming accounts and deleted their votes.
