The Idea

This idea will give people a reason to signup. We build a site, charge people 10 dollars to join. We limit the membership to 100,000 people. By signing up, you own 1 out of a possible 200,000 shares of the website. After we achieve our 100,000 members, we filter through ideas of websites submitted by the members. We take the top 5 and put them into a rating pool. The highest rated website is then built, using the one million dollars from the membership fees. This will leave us roughly 950,000$ to market a fresh idea. Of course we"ll own the majority of the website (roughly 51%) and the users will own the other 49% giving them a reason to join in the first place. With 950,000$ to market, we can turn anything into gold.

I thought of this idea when I was...

Trying to figure reasons why people should join us. By giving away a percent of the company to them, they want to succeed and contribute.

the system is stupid. why would people pay to be on a site when they can join sites for free. people dont like to pay for things. thats just how we humans are. we like cheap haha
