The Weigh our Goat contest was an experiment to see how accurately a crowd could guess the weight of a goat. 31 days and over 1000 guesses later - the crowd determined the weight of the goat to be 39.8lbs.

The actual weight of our goat was 38.5lbs. Coincidence? We think not. This was just a small experiment to show you the power of a crowd. (So perhaps there's more wisdom in a collective group then an individual. Ya think?)

A Success!
Thank goodness our experiment was a success, since our business model depends on it. And since the average of all guesses was within 2lbs of the actual weight, we have donated a goat as promised.

As part of our Cambrian House Foundation we’re committed to the community.  This is our way to generate a little karma. Goat's milk is the only milk known to half the world's people, but 80 percent of mothers and children in rural areas do not have any type of milk or milk products.
