I don't know the exact information; normally a new voting round starts on Wednesday, but no new round started last Wednesday. ("Granting..." )
I've just assumed that they are waiting with a new voting round until the switch to VenCorps is completed. (So the new voting round will also be on VenCorps, but you don't have to transfer anything yourself, just wait and you'll get an Alpha invite [and your account will be transferred (I believe ideas will be transferred with you, but I'm not sure.)])

P.S. You can better posts ideas a few days before a round starts, because people [hopefully can/most of the time] give you useful comments so you can refine your idea a little bit before the voting starts.

My main objective is to find other brains to help me advance my business concept. I have much of it down, but need some help in tweaking and in designing the delivery piece. So as far as points accumulated....not so much my concern. I would like to compete (if that is the right word) for capital that might be offered at whatever stage, either here or via VenCorps. So, given that, do you have a recommend?
Also, will EVERYONE get the VenCorps invite, or only those that have participated here for a long time? Is there a certain level of participation that needs to be had to get said invite?

If you're in any way uncomfortable posting your idea publicaly (in hopes of useful feedback), then I'd suggest waiting for your private VenCorps invite. Everyone at Cambrian House (who has not been kicked off like Saigon) will eventually get such an invite.
If you're looking for capital, that's exactly what VenCorps will be offering. And while posting your idea ANYWHERE on the internet is pretty much announcing your intentions publicly, VenCorps private alpha may offer you a degree of privacy which Cambrian House does not.
