Let it be known that this the first idea I plan to submit. I hope my long pitch makes a homerun and not a strikeout. I
know I can only have a thousand characters explaining "my
idea."

I know there are 3D worlds, however I'm unaware if there are any where a job seeker can showcase their talents to a potential employer(s).
AVOTARO, aka as "A Virtual Office to a Real Office" is a way for potential employees to demonstrate their ideas and skills, without any problems, such as freezing up during an interview. AVOTARO is a way for employers to find out if a person has what it takes to be part of their company, without having to weed through numbers of resumes and interviews. The potential employee will become a virtual employee where s/he will be given fictional, yet company related projects to perform via the internet. Each project will be evaluated and graded. Visitors can vote on their favorite projects. Each vote earns an AVOTARO employee, half a point. A certain score (ex- 95-100) will guarantee a career with that company.
Some projects that may be performed are:
Create a 3D atmosphere where players can virtually visit our national parks and museums and make it feel as if they are actually there
Design a template for a company's web page
Recover lost data for a web site
Create a database for a store's inventory that alerts the manager when items have expired
Write a proposal letter to lenders for funding of a new building
Analyze a company's accounting data
Design a spreadsheet where customers can easily compare the ingredients and nutritional value of over a fifty brands of vitamins and minerals and view the data on a few pages
Design a blueprint for a mall using such software as CAD
Solve problems between employees.

Below are reasons why AVOTARO may be beneficial to businesses:
We will help them save time and money on finding the ideal employee(s)
We only charge if they actually hire an AVOTARO employee(Ex- 25% of the employee's hourly rate x 8 hours or 15% of a project fee)
We will provide them a database of potential employees and their experience and knowledge
We will provide advertising on our site
We will create and design company related projects for our AVATORO employees to accomplish
We will also evaluate and grade an AVOTARO employee's virtual performance
We will have any criminal background information on each AVOTARO employee

Below are reasons why a job seeker might find AVOTARO beneficial:
Their own fictional avatar name. The company will not have an AVOTARO employee's personal information,until
they actually hire the employee.
Their own virtual office, which will resemble a real office
A special program that prevents others from stealing their ideas and work
All the software necessary to complete a project(s)
Evaluations, comments,and suggestions on their performance by the company, visitors, and AVOTARO.
An area to promote themselves, including videos and a web site
The opportunity to play around in a 3D world, which will hopefully led to a great career in the real world.
An opportunity to become a developer/creator of AVOTARO, if
s/he receives a grade of 80% or better.

The AVOTARO employee may have businesses bid on their projects, however we will take a percentage of the winning bid amount.

If this idea takes flight I can perform adminstration duties and help with advertising. For this idea to fly smoothly I will need people that have expertise in one of following jobs:
3D
Accounting
Advertising
Architecture
Business Management
Computer Programming
Computer Software
Graphic Design
Innovation, which to be is the most important
Project Management
AVOTARO Web Site Promotion, which will be the first step to get AVOTARO off and running smoothly. If you have a
great and profitable idea, it won't matter if no one knows the site exists, or companies and job seekers have to search through hundreds of pages to find us.
I will also need some expert knowledge in deciding how much to charge for our services, which will be financially beneficial for the job seeker, the company, and of course the innovators of AVOTARO.

I appreciate any feedback before I submit "my idea" to cambrianhouse. If there are web sites that already offer this service, please include their url address. Let me know if my pitch was too long.

I read the first paragraph and liked the idea. I got it. So yes, consolidate to 1000 words or less and discuss in Idea warz. I think you could be competitive with this.

Sorry for a "double-post".

I forgot to say that employers should pay for time spent in these interview exercises. We can discuss a fair balance, but interviewers might spend a significant amount of time "working" on this. It might resemble coding contests, like topcoder.com. Although, I think winning the job should be emphsized, not a one-time prize.
