Cambrian House

I think web 2.0 and CH are the missing link for ordinary people to contribute meaningfully in the new ways of creating wealth in this so called new economy.
Cycko, Feb 2007

Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

Looking to harness the power of your crowd? Find out about Chaordix™ - technology that enables enterprises to get the most out of crowdsourcing.

For those on CH you probably know I am pretty deliberate on a strong logic for voting on all the idea. When I give a high star rank the idea truly is worth a win.

But, today is the one day I gave everyone five stars! Even the ideas I know for a fact have been done or have clear flaws or are not even ideas just spam and blank posts. Though mathematically it is not going to raise your ideas rank above anyone since everyone has five stars.

This has no positive or negative impact on CH, yourself or the idea submitters. So I must ask... why bother? C'mon, you know you want someone to ask. I'll bite. WHY GOD WHY!?!

Well, with Vencorps will wanted me to change and be more over looking. Which I can understand because it is the user base and you want to keep users happy. But, I would like to know do idea submitters really care about feedback at all? Would they like the positive votes more then possibly receiving critical feedback?

Whats the trade off between how much users want the idea to be a success and the type of feedback users will to accept to actually make it happen.
