Flash Genius

We are currently looking for a Flash Genius – a truly bright and creative mind. Hungry to contribute to Web design projects that inspire and awe, the successful candidate has a well-rounded knowledge of the Web, excellent action scripting skills and is well-versed on trends in usability. This position allows for deep involvement in the creative development process for many unique and challenging projects.

We’re looking for a team player who not only wants to work hard but who has a true hunger to live and breathe our universe – it’s a good place to be, trust us!

Requirements

  • A true passion for the Internet
  • Three to five years experience as a Flash developer; minimum of two years experience in graphic design
  • Expertise in Flash development methodologies (example: XML communication, ActionScript OOP implementation, component development)
  • Strong design skills; well-versed using Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Capable of working independently but also within a team of designers, Web and application developers to understand project and technical requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to determine the most appropriate use of Flash
  • Ability to take abstract concepts and transform them into visually compelling images that tell the Cambrian House story
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, learn new information quickly and respond in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Champion new technology initiates and research the latest Flash techniques and features
  • Superior work ethic coupled with the desire to deliver only the best
  • Confident, charismatic, quirky – we’re looking for a truly creative mind
