The Chief Technology Officer provides the strategic vision for enhancing our products and infrastructure. S/He will be a member of the senior management team and will work with the team to set company priorities and implement processes that will help improve our product development.

The company has offices in LA and Detroit but we are willing to interview candidates located elsewhere.

The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for overseeing our current technology team and our current platform. We are a small company, and we need someone who is a good translator between technology and the business. The ideal candidate will be energetic, positive and outgoing, and have demonstrated success integrating technology into larger client organizations. In addition, s/he must be a strong manager of staff. We have a great team, and want to help them develop personally as the company grows.

This role will hold influence over all technology initiatives. It requires someone who has hands-on experience with software development practices including Agile project management. We have a blend of technologies in-house; the successful candidate will be able to assist us in improving and/or supporting them. We also expect this individual to build relationships with vendors, contractors and external companies for all our technology-related initiatives.

The type of individual we need has experience working with small companies and is comfortable with evolving their strategy within small company constraints.
