Summary
Apply the layer technology, which we know from CAD systems, to develop a document structure that uses this and connecting relations between the layers for hierarchical text and picture information. Examples: e-books with pictures, multilingual reports, manuals, CAD systems [drawing content + description of drawing elements on different layers], etc.. Maybe this kind of document needs a new file structure. The thinking of a one-level portrayal of picture and text information as on paper is over. Via a menu we can switch from one layer to the next. E-book: target group oriented sense link (more than common hyperlinks) layers for example the funniest passages, or pictures for a special passage. Through the layer technique we can jump into the depth of the picture gallery. When we look with in the windows explorer for some documents with a viewer tool we can have e.g. a view inside the management layer of the layer documents.
