A bigger, better picture view of what's going on in the World Wide Web. I want a browser-based visualization of where the "action" is in close-to real time.
I want to see the "hot spots."
I want to see where the little web surfing fish are teaming like frenzied piranna.
Basically, it is a method of graphically representing "web traffic."
Obviously, a gigantic task. Must ... narrow ... focus ... thump!
Perhaps a search/tool to specify an industry or product category or even specific domain names ... compare traffic between social communitees or search engines or by country ... whatever you choose.
This idea requires a few main components:
1) traffic data
2) a search engine/focus-narrowing tool
3) graphical representation of selected data
I believe that 1) and 2) are quite do-able and the key to this application/service is the graphical representation. Ideally, numerous colorful/creative options of how to view data.
