Summary
Video upload sites are sprouting up everywhere. Google, MSN, Yahoo, MySpace and many more are getting into this market heavily. Along with the big guys smaller sites are starting to add this functionality to their sites as well. The only problem that the smaller guys are having is the conversion process of taking normal videos and converting them to flash format. My business would provide a very simple service, a way for mid size online businesses to allow their members to upload videos on their site. Upon sign-up members would get code for their site that allows video upload and also a way to display the flash videos on their site. They are charged on a per file basis, perhaps something like 5-10 cents a video (depends on storage and bandwidth costs). I already own the vidwire.com domain.
