A social network that would allow people to bring quantifiable consequences to politicians for making specific decisions. This is how it works:
1) Every member is validated (soc.sec. number, credit card, etc.)
2) A user creates a cause and becomes a champion for that cause. He says something like "We want politician X to do Y. If he does, we will do C1. If he doesn't, we will do C2. Who's with me?"
3) Other users sign up to support that cause
4) After enough users show their support, the champion (step 2) goes to a politician and says "If you do Y, we will do C1. If you do not do Y, we will do C2. I have [# of validated users] people supporting this cause.
5 - 1) Politician does Y, in which case the champion goes back to the system, says "X did Y, everybody do C1" and everybody does C1 and rejoice.
5 - 2) Politician ignores the pleas and doesn't do anything. In which case the champion posts "X did not do Y! Everybody do C2!" And everybody does C2.
