cooking food kitchen software

A traditional recipe book lets you look for a dish. Then tells you what you need to make that dish. The Reverse Recipe book would allow you to choose dishes to make from the ingredients you already have in the fridge and pantry.

This website/service knows what you have in your kitchen and it tells you what you can make from those ingredients.

Also takes into account what your
-personal food preferences.
-your cooking skills
-nutrition
-time constraints

One challenge would getting the data of what you have in your kitchen into the computer. Possible solutions might be using receipts to enter data by flatbed scanner. Or a bar code with scanner as you unload food from the store. Or maybe you could sign up with the grocery store to have them enter your food purchase. Once the food you purchased was in the system an adjustable formula would be used to predict what you had left.

The revenue model could just be pay $49 for the software. Or it could have advertising revenue from food and cooking supply vendors.
