In a world that is increasingly multicultural, media neutral and open source, Ad agencies are increasing mono cultural and have tunnel vision when it comes to buying media, because that's where their profits come from.
It's a service industry when it should be a manufacturing. Creating ideas from the people who work in agencies.
What's more, agenicies are still trying to sell a 1980s Business Class model ("What can I do for your, sir, since you're paying a load of money to us"
to a client who only wants to pay for Low Cost ("I need to get more sales for less investment'

I'm working on a Wikiagency where the ideas evolve from a classic client brief, but come from anywhere and anyone. Ideas are paid for bonus/malus, ie so much for the idea, more if it gets sold. Not just ads in the traditional sense, but brand solutions as a whole.
