Summary
This is based off Asian anime style of mecha and not north American. You start off as a simple person in a large city and work your way up to owning a rocking 60 foot tall mecha from hell able to fly through space and conquer worlds. There of course would be the option of other vehicle such as tanks and space fighters but the focus would be one the mecha and the character development required to pilot them. The world would be fraction based with clans within the fractions all player run like that in Eve where players develop and define the world they exist in. It would be a skill based system and leveless like godwars MUDS. This would put the focus on the character development and the player based run story.
