The idea is to build a wide range of encased electronics segments which will allow to build complex electronic equipment. CD players, computers, amplifiers, customised interior light installations, mood lights, spekers... any type of domestic or commercial electronics indeed.
The segments will allow different individuals or companies (artists / hobbyists / small designer or/and decoration studios,who have no or little idea about electronics) to fit electronic equipment into about any object. Furniture, art pieces, designer electronic devices, interior decoration etc. Every segment of the system must be compatible with all the others. You will be able than to build the devices functionality just by connecting different segments by simple (lets say) USB cables. Different manufacturers can join the project keeping all the rights for particular segments, but sharing and collaborating on one (compatibility) resource.
