Hi people,
I've an Idea to provide Closed-Captioning Services via a Internet/Intranet Portal. Any one could freely sign-in for a membership. The site would contain two types of membership a) Captioning Editor b) Viewer. In order to take a Viewer-based membership there is a fee and in order to take a Captioning Editior membership it is free.
a) Captioning Editor, is a user who contributes to the site by creating a closed-caption or Sub-titling of an entire movie available on the site. He is rewarded based on the number of views on the movie he has captioned for a period of time.
b) Viewer, is a user who is mostly hearing-disabled who views the movie along with the closed-caption/sub-title. He pays a subscription fee for viewing movies that are available on the portal's database.
The Movie is streamed from a Media server and all closed captioning/sub-titling edited on the movie is also stored in the media server. Any suggestions,ideas or critizisms are welcome!!
