Hello!

You've landed in the archive of the Cambrian House community. We've kept some pages here for posterity but the community is no longer active. Now we market the technology that made our early crowdsourcing a success.

Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

Are you seeking crowdsourcing technology? – Check out Chaordix by Cambrian House.

this would be the place to tell a bit about yourself if you have interest in becoming involved with this project. Current needs are expressed on the exec summary- http://www.scrollino....com/ideas/feelrz />
i'll move things into the wiki as we build out. I'd like to identify a small core team of device developers, (Symbian, Windows, J2ME), potentially an interface designer and someone with some design skill and passion to create a killer site that tells the Feelrz story. If this app is feasible to run over Bluetooth, that would simplify a lot of issues.

As far as my own background- i currently run the startup
http://www.JumpBox.com- we can deploy any open source linux app in this fashion so it installs in 30sec and runs on any OS. I have ten years of experience working in web. Much of that time was spent as a programmer then technical consultant and now I'm working more on the business side doing strategic and administrative stuff for our startup. I'm heavily committed on that project but excited about the prospect of the Feelrz idea because it's something I selfishly want for myself and just about everyone I ping with the idea says they'd use it if it existed.

Leave a note here with your qualifications, relevant experience and interest if you would like to be a part of this project. The good news is if we can put together a functional prototype even (if it's primitive) this is something I could potentially get funded.

I look forward to working w/ smart people here to build some amazing things and share the wealth.

Hi, I'm Richard and I'm hoping to look after software development on the client side and am adaptable to any other roles the project manager may see fit.

I have 25 years software development experience right back to the BBC Model B home computer in Basic and 6502 assembler as a spotty youth.

I dropped out of college and went to work for British Sports Car maker, Lotus initially implementing a component tracking system in DBase, moving on to development of powertrain control systems in M68HC11 assembler.

A spell developing OCR/Key from image software at Lloyds of London followed and at the age of 27 I found myself in a position developing similar software for a provider of OCR systems in Milton Keynes.

I had clearly become too Geeky for my own god and decided it was time to get a life. This I have done and my primary role at the moment is one of Childcare while working nights for American Ubercourier UPS.

I have however maintained my Geeky side, largely out of the view of my spouse, and have completedmany projects, mostly in Java on rentacoder.

Over the last few years my interest has focused on mobile devices having spent much effort on WAP development, a technology that is now all but dead with the rapid rise of 3G phones and I was heavily involved in development of aftermarket applications for the Gizmondo, the first handheld games console to include GPS.

More recently I have been developing for the Symbian mobile phone platform the results of which can be seen in my own project, blastfm.

I am hoping to combine this project with feelrz and I feel there will be many areas of crossover.
