Get ready to rumble people. This week marks the launch of our October IdeaWarz tournament - The Golden Hammer.

Each month 16 of the top ideas in the land get together and battle for the hearts and mind of people like you. Every week the top ideas advance to the next stage while the losers bow out. In the end, one idea will be left standing earning fame, glory, and one sweet Market Test (the final step before we take the winner ideas commercial).

After much anticipation, IdeaWarz 3.0 is now live (at IdeaWarz.com).

The very first Cambrian House IdeaWarz tournament, the Golden Hammer Tournament, is a go with idea heavyweights such as Film Funder and Programming for Kids duking it out in this 16 idea round-robin style tournament.

We have a dedicated team in-house working on Gwabs, but we’re looking for contributions from our Community. We’re looking for developers, artists and copywriters.

Programmers:This game is being written in C#/.Net, and will run on Windows XP and Vista. We need your coding skill to help us create this game! Know some coding but unsure how to code for games? We’re also putting up tutorials so you can learn as you go! Contribute, master your craft and profit!

Copywriters:Gwabs will be distributed online and needs your masterful copy to help it sell. Help us put into words the blood, gore and glory that will be Gwabs!

Graphic Designers/Artists:We need characters and accessories to populate the Gwabs universe, and your creative mind to think it up! The video on our website is only one artist’s vision - make that vision your own!

Get ready to rumble – IdeaWarz 3.0 is here and it’s going live next week. The first phase introduces the new tournament style of voting of the top community ideas, as well as a host of other new features. Here are just some of the things coming out next week:

• New tournament style competition
• New IdeaWarz website
• Videos, interviews, and lots’o drama

And this is just the beginning. We still have lots of work to do tackling the current ranking algorithm (getting rid of the infamous down vote), and well as laying out the new idea editing system – IdeaForge.
