You've landed in the archive of the Cambrian House community. We've kept some pages here for posterity but the community is no longer active. Now we market the technology that made our early crowdsourcing a success.
Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

The Cambrian House Crew
Cambrian House is a very interesting idea - crowdsourced software. Their goal is to leverage the wisdom of crowds to both receive as well as filter business ideas, code and creative content.Ken Yarmosh, Jul 2006
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

I'm looking for a business savvy "Web 2.0" developer/project manager to spearhead the development and marketing of my idea, CarbonTicker.com. It's at:
http://www.cambrianh...ter/ideas-id/EJwMKfE
I've made the following offer to JumpoDing, to see if his Crowdsourcing Web Ring idea would be a suitable way to move on this project:
As the "IdeaMan," I'm willing to work with a dedicated group to make CarbonTicker.com into a thriving business and:
1. Give the group 80% of the profits till their ROI is met; after that up to 5% of net profits per contributor

2. Give the participants up to 49% of ownership

3. Have everything fully defined/agreed to before the work starts
We can use this model or any other that is mutually beneficial.
As far as marketing and business/site operations, we won't start from scratch: I've had discussions with CharonV about a business arrangement between CarbonTicker and his company that could provide contract development of microsites, potential revenues from carbon credit broker affiliate fees, and large number of visitors to the site.
